On the B-Side

I finally finished my B-Side Cardigan!  And just in time to find the perfect buttons for it at SAFF!  I bought a few different buttons to try – a couple vintage ones and also some silver norwegian style ones as well.  I think the silver ones were perfect!

Pattern: B-Side Cardigan
Yarn: Bugga! from Sanguine Gryphon in color Polyphemus Moth (a cashmere/merino/nylon blend that is just scrumptious!)

Size made: 36
Needles: US4
Started: June 20, 2010
Finished: October 25, 2010

I love the sailor-style collar!

Modifications:  No major modifications to this – I made the sleeves longer and did them in the round instead of flat with seams, and I made the body longer as well, but that’s about it. The yarn was wonderful to work with – it’s a perfect yarn for a sweater.  It was so soft and squishy.   After blocking the yarn got even softer, if you can believe that!

Overall I am extremely happy with how it turned out!  If it wasn’t so hot out today I’d be wearing it right now!
