Ravelry
More than just a database of patterns and yarns, Ravelry is a whole knitting community. It is a fantastic resource for any knitter or crocheter.
The Knitting Guild Association
The largest knitting association, dedicated to education and mastery of the craft – publishes Cast On magazine, and runs the Master Knitter program.
Knitty
An online knitting magazine that publishes free patterns, as well as helpful articles.
Knitting Daily
Now a cable knitting show! Lots of free patterns and articles.
Arenda Holladay
TKGA Executive Director.  She has an excellent blog and YouTube channel filled with knitting tips and articles.
TECHKnitting
Fantastic blog with technical knitting tips and tricks and articles.

Very affordable yarn and knitting/crochet supplies.
The Loopy Ewe
Lots of indie dyer yarns, plus notions. One of my favorite on-line shops!
WEBS
Large online (and brick-and-mortar) retailer of yarn.
Ravelry LYS Search
You can search Ravelry’s directory of local yarn shops to find one near you! There’s nothing like shopping for yarn in person (and it’s great to shop local!)

Ravelry has many free patterns available.

The Joy of Handspinning
A fantastic website with a wealth of information about handspinning. Lots of video tutorials.
Paradise Fibers
A great shop in Washington – they sell wheels, fiber and all kinds of knitting and spinning supplies.
