I finally have a FO I can show you! I finished this a few weeks ago, but couldn’t show you right away since it was a gift. 🙂 Well, my new nephew Cole was born a little over a week ago, and I can show you his blanket now!
Pattern: Sweetie Baby Blanket by Terry Morris
Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash in color #9875 (4 skeins)
Needles: US 7
Started: August 25, 2014
Finished: October 16, 2014
Modifications: none.
This was a very nicely written pattern. It used short rows on the garter stitch sides to keep the blanket square and offset the different row gauge of the lace. I thought that was a very nice touch. The yarn was some yarn I won a couple of years ago during the Charlotte Yarn Crawl – and it was perfect for this pattern! The perfect colors, and superwash to boot! I hope it keeps baby Cole warm during this winter. 🙂
So, that’s what I have to show you today! I do have a new WiP to show you, and my SAFF purchases as well, so I’ll post about those soon. I also hope to be able to post about another secret item in the next week or so, so keep an eye out for that as well! 🙂
Until then, Happy Knitting!
