I finished another shawl a little over a week ago – this one only took me about 3 weeks to knit. It’s a wonderful pattern:
Pattern: Adelei Shawl
Yarn: Numma Numma Toasty in colorway ‘Champagne Toasty’
Needles: US 5
Started: Nov 2, 2010
Finished: Nov 20, 2010
Mods: none, although I omitted the beads. In hindsight, I should have used beads on this – it would have really been lovely. (Note to self – when in doubt, always use beads!)
This was a well done pattern – well written and charted and it makes an interesting shape – perfect for wrapping up as a scarf under a jacket.
I used my blocking wires to block it – keeping the square neckline shape and straight eyelet lines – it made it very easy to pin out the points evenly that way.
I already wore it to keep my neck warm under my winter coat while we were visiting up in Ohio this last week! The yarn is very appropriately named ‘Toasty’. 🙂
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday this last week!
Happy Knitting everyone!
Wow, I love the shawl…your pattern choice and yarn color is a marriage made in heaven.
Thank you so much!
