Master Knitting Monday

I’m diving right in to my Level 3 Master Knitting work.  I’ve started with the double knitting swatch – and done three attempts since last week.  I think my third attempt looks pretty good, but I still have to block it, and do the kitchener stitch top seam.

I started the lace doily swatch yesterday.  I think I may need to go up a needle size, and get my center start a bit tighter – so I’m going to do a second one after I finish the bind off of this one.  We’ll see how it looks after blocking, too – it might not be too bad.

I’ve got hat and sweater ideas bouncing around in my head – I’ll let them stew for a bit more and then maybe start on the hat in a week or two. 🙂  (I’m pretty sure I’m going to do an aran hat and a fair isle sweater.)

Anyhow, that’s what I have so far on the Master Knitter front – I need to start researching my written reports, too.  So much to do!!
