WiP Wednesday

Hi!

So, I still have my Cast On socks on the needles – can’t show them to you, but I am super happy with how they are turning out! They’ll be in the next issue of Cast On magazine. I should be finishing them up by next week – with plenty of deadline time to spare! Yay!

Sadly, I had my recent design submissions get rejected, but one of them is (I think) a fantastic idea, so I’m going to work on that as a self-published design. And I’ll actually have some time to work on it too (since I have about a month or so of no deadline knitting!) I just need to get my hands on the yarn for it – it’ll require about 8 colors of fingering weight yarn…

Oh- and you really should tune in to the Cheers to Ewe! Show this coming Tuesday morning 3/13 (around 9:15am EDT) because they are having ME on as a special guest! (They do a Facebook live video each Tuesday morning.) How cool is that?! I’m really excited. If you can’t tune in live, then you can watch the recording later on their YouTube channel.

I have lots of new classes going on the Cheers to Ewe class lineup – including Needle Tatting, socks, entrelac, and more.

The entrelac class will be on a felted basket/bowl that I am finishing up the pattern for. There will be three sizes in the pattern, but for the class we’ll knit the small one. I’m calling it ‘Tisket Tasket Entrelac Basket’. 🙂 That class will be in June.

I do so love teaching, so I’m really excited to be putting some more classes out there. I have proposals in to several fiber festivals as well, so I’m hoping to hear back on those soon.

Anyway, that’s what I have going on this week! Please do catch me on the Facebook live Cheers to Ewe show next week – I’d love some support!

Until next time, Happy Knitting!

  1. That little basket is SO adorable!! Will the pattern be available? I’m always looking for little things to make. 🙂

    1. Yes! It will be available! I’m hoping to finish it up within the next few weeks, so look for it around late April or May!
