New Pattern: Sock September 2022 Knitalong

Up and Down Arrows Socks

Today my Sock September KAL pattern is out!  The Up and Down Arrows Socks pattern includes directions for working them cuff-down or toe-up — or work one of each to get the “Up and Down” effect!

Materials Needed: Two colors of sock yarn (one or more skeins of each, pattern has yardage estimates). They should be contrasting colors (the more highly contrasting the better!) One can be a self-striping or variegated or a long-change gradient. My sample was worked with Knit Picks Felici yarn in colors Midnight and Double Dog Dare.

Sizes: To fit 6.5-7 (8-8.25, 9.25-9.75, 10.5-11)” / 16.5-17 (20-20.5, 23-24, 26.5-27.5) cm foot/ankle circumference.

Pattern is written with a short row heel using wrap and turn method, feel free to substitute your favorite method of working a short row heel.
