FO Friday

I have a finished object to show you! My Dr Who socks are done!  I’m pretty happy with them (I matched the start of the stripes up perfectly!)  The heel could fit better, but they’re good enough. 🙂

And I’m working on my cardigan still. Both sleeves are done and I’ve started on the body!

I’m not sure if I’ll do waist shaping or not, we’ll see. I’m doing the non-colorwork portion flat, and might do the colorwork portion flat as well, I’ll decide when I get to it. I’ve added ‘faux’ side seam purl stitches on each side – I added those after the ribbing portion. I have a couple other mods as well, I’ll list those in detail in a later post.  BTW, this yarn is heavenly to work with! The Copper Corgi Jones Street Sport yarn. Scrumptious!

I had a ball teaching this past weekend at Unwind Getaway in Blowing Rock. My classes were fun to teach and full of lovely people that it was a pleasure to get to know!  A weekend I won’t forget!

I’ll be teaching at the Georgia Fiber Fest this coming September in Columbus, GA. Maybe I’ll see some of you there?

Until next time, Happy Knitting!
