Two-Color Thorn Stitch is a really fun slipped stitch pattern. You don’t have to use two colors to work it, but it looks so much better when you do!

Two-Color Thorn Stitch (mult of 4 sts + 1)
Row 1 (RS): With Color A, k2, *(k1, yo, k1) in single st, k3; rep from * to 3 sts, (k1, yo, k1) in single st, k2.
Row 2 (WS): With Color B, p2, *sl3 wyif, p3; rep from * to last 5 sts, sl3 wyif, p2.
Row 3: With Color B, k1, *k2tog, sl1, ssk, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 4: With Color A, p4, *sl1 wyif, p3; rep from * to last st, p1.
Row 5: With Color A, k4, *(k1, yo, k1) in single st, k3; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 6: With Color B, p4, *sl3 wyif, p3; rep from * to last st, p1.
Row 7: With Color B, k3, *k2tog, sl1, ssk, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 8: With Color A, p2, *sl1 wyif, p3; rep from * to last 3 sts, sl1 wyif, p2.
Rep Rows 1-8 for patt.
