I have a bit more of the ribbing done on the Master Knitter Vest:
Not much, though, as you can see. Like I said yesterday, it’s going to go slooooooowww. But as long as I don’t have to re-do it, I’ll be happy, no matter how long it seems to take!!
I got a bit done on my cashmere shawl as well in the last week:
I’m about halfway through the fifth repeat. It’s going slowly too. I may need to start something small just so I can have the satisfaction of finishing something!!
In other knit-related news, last night the Charlotte Knitting Guild held their annual elections, and I am the new President! If you’re in Charlotte, NC (or nearby) you should check us out! We meet the first Tuesday of every month at Providence Baptist Church on Randolph Road. We start meeting around 6pm with socializing until 6:30 or so and then after covering any business we have an educational program from about 7 until 8pm. Late-comers are fine – don’t worry if you can’t make it right at 6!
We have lots of exciting things planned for the upcoming year (including a retreat planned for March 2012!), and we’d love to have you join us!
YAY Madam President!!! Very proud of you!!!
If I was more mobile, with car and such, I’d be attending the Guild meetings, fo sho.
Thanks, B! 🙂
The shawl is beautiful! Thanks for participating in WIPW!
Thank you, Tami! I just discovered your WiPW blogroll on the blog hub group on Ravelry, and figured I should participate!
